Suggest you upgrade to 0.30.0
I strongly suggest that you upgrade your App Analytics to 0.30.0 has we have been through some major changes and can no longer support the old system.
You you will need to change the imports and tracking calls in you app to match the new swc.
The old system will be completely removed by the end of May. This means any apps with the older tracking versions will cease to be tracked maybe even before then.
To go with the upgrade we also have a shiny new web interface to go with it located here: http://my.appanalyticshq.com/ – this is also where you download the new files from.
New registrations are still disabled at this stage as I am still making tweeks to the system.
Thanks Paul

In my previous post I mentioned that the new system was missing some features. Well I have just implemented functionality on the bleeding edge servers that now allows you to edit your application details…. Fun Huh….
Read MoreBleeding edge servers updated with new infrastructure
So as you all know I have been hard at work over the last 3-4 months creating and deploying a completely new infrastructure for App Analytics. Well I’m happy to announce that the code base is in a state where I can release it into the bleeding edge servers. The bleeding edge servers are located here: http://bleed.appanalyticshq.com/
App Analytics is now sitting on a completely scalable cluster infrastructure including having access directly to over 20 databases to cope with the vast data reads and writes an application of this nature performs. In another post I will go into more detail of why and how I achieved this.
In the mean time the bleeding edge servers are here to allow you to play with the system and see how it performs.
New SWC
There is a new SWC to go with the new system, if you want to see real-time tracking as per the old system you will need to download the new swc and update the linkages, e.g AirAnalytics is now AppAnalytics, all other syntax is the same. You can get the new swc from http://bleed.appanalyticshq.com/index.php/downloads
New Web Interface
When you log into the bleeding edge web interface your application tracking data set maybe incomplete…. don’t stress App Analytics still has all your data it just hasn’t completely migrated to the new system. The data migration is a continual process and will be for some time yet.
From a interface point of view is looks exactly the same as the old interface and works in exactly the same minor with a few updates.
- Charts have been replaced and updated.
- When you set a date range it stays set as you navigate the site.
- Streamlined usage permissions
- Chat data optimization
- Map data optimization
But the web interface is incomplete and is missing the following features that are soon to follow.
- People Management
- Edit User Details
- Custom type additions
- Content drill-downs
- Open user registration
- Edit Application Details
As usual I really appreciate your feedback…. If you have any please let me know
Thanks Paul
Read MoreNew registration and new application functionality temporary removed
I had to Temporary remove the registration and new application functionality due to the fact that I’m are starting the data migration to the infrastructure. I need to disable these to maintain data integrity while I undertake this mammoth task. Think of it at as completely replacing a car engine while driving down the motorway at 100 miles an hour….. you get some idea of the task I’m undertaking.
For all the current users, you will not need to change anything the tracking will continue as normal and no outages should occur.
If you a looking to register for App Analtyics please check back soon.
Thanks Paul

It would seem that on the domain migration something has happened to the usage page, (I doesn’t really work). Im looking into it now and will try and get a resolution on the situation.

Read MoreImportant News: Air Analytics has become App Analytics
A few months ago Adobe asked us to change our name and URL so that it would no longer contain the term ‘AIR’, which is a registered trademark of Adobe. We were allowed a few months grace by Adobe(who have been fantastic) as we were trying to coincide the domain name change with finishing of the core rewrite. But the rewrite has taken a little more time than we would have liked. So we have decided to make the domain change now and get back to concentrating on the core rewrite. So here at Air Analytics we’ve been busy thinking up new names and we think we’ve found a great new home for us.
As of today Air Analytcs will be changing its name to App Analytics.
The new name amends the use of the word AIR , and it also opens up the App Analytics for the future. In the last 6 months we have built a great community that we hope to expand on and involve as we move forward into other areas. ![]()
We realize some members may have concerns about this decision, and to be honest I know I am always going to feel a little wistful about our old name, but we feel strongly it’s the right choice for Air Analytics and will serve us in good stead for the future.
As of now, the URL AirAnalytics.net will redirect to the new AppAnalyticsHQ.com. Everything will stay just as it always has been, and your tracking will not be affected at all, – we’ll just have a nifty new name!
We also have a new twitter account and emails to go with our fancy new name.

Thanks to everyone at AirAnalytics.net for 6 months of amazing growth, and here’s to many more as App Analytics!

Hey all its been a while since I posted an update so I thought I better fill you in on what we have been up to and whats just around the corner.
Over the last month or so we have be working hard rewriting the core of the app, this is due to two main reasons 1. Some huge leanings have been made over the process of the open beta, 2. Future plans and features for Air Analytics. We have been forced to rethink the almost all the internal processes of Air Analytics but the app will be more stable and future proof because of it.
We hope to have the first cut of the new system on the bleeding edge servers in a few weeks, once we are happy with that the roll-out to production will be the same day that we go to open beta….. yes I said it and I’ll say it again we will roll-out to an open beta with the release of our new core…… BOOM !
We are excited and hope you will be too.
Thanks
