Tracking more than 1/2 a million items

Posted by: Paul Sanderson  /  Comments: 1

As of a few days ago Air Analytics is tracking more than 1/2 a million items. This is one of our mile stones and we have surpassed it in half the time that we expected which is fantastic.

We are so glad that you guys are using the product and finding is useful.

On another note you may have noticed we have slowed down on the web interface dev this is because we are focusing on the desktop version of Air Analtyics. Also soon we will be switching servers and DB step to cope with expected future demand on our systems. And on that note here is a sneak preview of the application look.

As mentioned before we will still have a web interface but it will be limited compared to the tasks that the Desktop Reporting tool can perform.

Thanks

I have had a really busy week here, with a huge overhaul to the users and account system in Air Analytics mixed with lots nightly releases, bug fixes user suggestions and some wonderful comments about Air Analytics (Thank you).

So here’s what we worked on this week as you’ll see, we’re still a heavy development cycle but are making huge progress towards an open beta.

  • As mentioned above at the beginning of the week made a huge structural changes to Air Analytics. Now allow users to have and belong to multiple accounts. Users are also now able to invite people to there account.
  • In addition to accounts we also added user three user roles to accounts. Administrator’s can assign roles to the users in the account.
  • Due to to the total framework over haul a few bugs slipped though but thanks to you guys giving some awesome feed back we we are able to track down resolve most of these relativity quickly. There are still a few outstanding but the should be resolve by the end of the weekend.
  • We created a basic sample flex application for you to check out and see how easy it is to implement Air Analytics in your application. The sample app can be found on the downloads page located here: http://www.airanalytics.net/stats/downloads.php
  • Today it has been exactly 1 month since we entered our private beta. In that time  we have we have made made more that 100 revisions to Air Analytics, that’s more than 3 updates and modifications per day, it is an astonish rate of improvement and I am very proud of it.
  • Also remember we have a bleeding edge version of Air Analytics. This is were you can test the and see new features of Air Analytics  before they are migrated to the day to day Air Analytics system.

Remember to keep your feedback coming. If you would like to see something changed, added or just want to chat about Air Analytics please feel free to contact us.

Over the next week there may be intermittent outages at Air Analytics while we make some major upgrades to the system. But don’t worry this wont affect your application tracking.

Also if you have anything that you would like to see in Air Analytics let us know here: http://airanalytics.uservoice.com/

Use your voice

Posted by: Paul Sanderson  /  Tags: , , ,

We have shifted our forums from vanilla to UserVoice located here: http://airanalytics.uservoice.com. We thought this would be a better match to Air Analytics.

User Voice is a forum with a twist. It allows you guys tell us what you would like to see in Air Analytics, you also can vote on your favorite ideas.

The items that are most wanted and needed bubble to the top and we here at Air Analytics can then implement the features that you want in our application.

We have already started you with some things that we thought about adding to Air Analytics. Head over, have a look and get voting. If you want a new feature that isn’t on the list please feel free to add it as we are always looking for ways to improve.

Air Analytics is on the way

We are currently developing the first full AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime) analytics that you can easily (very little code, 1 line) use to track what is happening in your AIR application suchs as applicaion installs, errors, application uses, unique users, operating sytems, and much more

This is a unlike any other tracking solution out there currently. Air Analytics is being built from the ground up with special attention to easy of use and efficient in tracking. This is native solution to AIR so no hacks and works around are needed to get the tracking working. Air Analytics is even able to track fully while the application is offline, so you are able to see the whole picture.

This is were we will be posting our developments and news, also we will soon be going into a private beta so stay tuned if you are interested and want to help us test this wicked piece of kit.
